Our client is looking for a Project Engineer to join their team in Bristol on a 6-12month contract.

This post is for a Project Engineer reporting to the BDUK Project Engineering Manager. The role will assist the BDUK Vertical Lift Chief Engineer by supporting the delivery of the Vertical Lift (VL) programme objectives, ensuring that assigned activities are appropriately coordinated, managed and reported. This role is primarily based at Bristol, with Yeovil offered as a secondary work location. The Production Planning Engineer will play a key part in the day to day running of the LGW 145 Production planning department. In doing so they will be the point of contact for any Production Planning issues during execution and preparation for customer maintenance inputs.

The production planning engineer will represent our Gatwick team at all required customer meetings, as well as working closely with our Technical Engineers to ensure deliverable plans are driven to execution.

The production planning engineer will form a key point of contact for customer technical representatives ensuring customer requirements are satisfied.

Roles and responsibilities

The role of the Production Planning Engineer is to be the on-shift escalation point for any Production Planning queries. 

Represent the Production Planning department at internal and external meetings as well as working closely with Boeing Part 145 Technical Services Team to ensure deliverable plans are driven to execution.
