Job Description

CXC Global are working with the worlds leading diabetes treatment organization, searching for a HR Business Partner based in Germany for a 6 month contract covering maternity.

The ideal person will ideally be ready start in October and Germany.

As the HR Business partner you will act as the HR Business Support to the Business Leader in the C&EE region, being part of the broader International HR Team. Your primary role is to ensure that day-to-day HR is run smoothly in the countries, in compliance with labor law, but also in a way that fosters engagement from the employees. This role is a true generalist role with a hands-on mentality needed to further shape HR after the spin off.

 

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • be the HR Business Partner for the VP EMEA North and support the regional leadership team in all HR Business partnership aspects
  • provide HR guidance and knowledge for day-to-day activities for managers, employees and other internal stakeholders (such as Finance, CoE in HR)
  • guide the local HR Coordinator and assign tasks for day-to-day activities as needed
  • support on the employee life cycle from recruitment to offboarding
  • When required, facilitate discussions, and solve litigations with employees and ensure the firm is compliant with legal expectations (Works Council, Unions)
  • Bring HR support and guidance to business initiatives such as launching / acquiring new products or other projects
  • support talent development internally. Partner with local leadership on having development discussions and creating meaning- and impactful development plans that support to evolve the organization as per business needs
  • Streamline, simplify and optimize HR offerings and processes after final spin off from BD to further support the separation and to set up embecta for success from a HR perspective

 

Requirements and skills:

For this role, we are looking for a HR professional with a wide local HR experience in Germany.

  • Masters Degree in HR, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent working experience
  • Min. 7 years of experience working as an HR Generalist, best acquired in international companies with a matrix organization
  • Strong background in HR Business Partnering, with demonstrated business acumen and judgement to understand the business strategy
  • Sound knowledge and experience in all HR processes for Germany, other countries within the region are a plus
  • Good understanding of the employment law and other relevant legislations (i.e. works council law)
  • Working knowledge & understanding of all operational HR related disciplines including personnel administration, reward & recognition, restructuring, talent acquisition & retention, payroll.
  • Ability to influence all levels of leaders & employees across various business units in the organization
  • Intercultural competence and strong communication skills in German and English.
  • A true HR Business Partner with excellent people management and project management skills, charisma, and gravitas.
  • Hands-on professional who likes to get things done, shows flexibility, and demonstrates a high level of energy.
